Choosing a Class:
If you’re just getting started with Pilates, please let us know - we can always help guide you to an appropriate class level and instructor. If you have a major injury or health issue, we ask you start with a private session so we can tailor the workout to your needs and also help you choose a group class if you’d like. Our sessions all run 45 minutes - private and group.
Group Classes: our classes begin with the Reformer and take you on a journey of strength and alignment for your total body by incorporating a variety of equipment that may include the Wunda Chair, Pilates Ring, bands, balls or free weights. There are well over 500 moves to work with, so boredom is NOT an option!
Level 1: Welcome to Pilates! This class is for those with little to no experience on the Reformer or Wunda Chair. You’ll learn proper form while familiarizing yourself with the different machines and props. This is also a great refresher course if you’ve been away from the practice for a while. Our Level 1 class takes place on The Reformer and may incorporate the Wunda Chair and props like the Pilates Ring, balls and bands.
Level 1/2: This level is for those who’ve taken a few private sessions or Level 1 classes. You’ll continue to grow a more complex understanding of the moves and language of Pilates, while moving at a Level 1 pace, allowing you to get a thorough workout while gently advancing in levels. Our Level 1/2 class is on The Reformer and will incorporate the Wunda Chair and props like the Pilates Ring, balls or bands.
Level 2: Our intermediate class. This class will further your understanding of Pilates and movement. You will never tire of these classes and will always walk out surprised you that there was a move you never tried or a new variation. This class will leave with that glow of wellness and you'll walk out feeling taller than when you arrived!
Level 2/3: This is an advanced intermediate class. After months, or even years of Level 2 sessions, you may take on our Level 2/3 for an additional challenge. In this class, you will learn increasingly advanced moves and be guided at an even faster pace. Our Level 2/3 class is on The Reformer and will incorporate the Wunda Chair and props like the Pilates Ring, balls or bands.
Level 3: This is our most advanced class. Expect to perform advanced moves at a very quick pace. Since every studio is a bit different, we suggest that you take one of our Level 2 classes before diving into Level 3 so we can meet you and help you assess your level of ability. This class is great for those with many years of Pilates experience and also offers a fresh perspective and an intense workout for Pilates teachers! Our Level 3 class is on The Reformer and will incorporate the Wunda Chair and props like the Pilates Ring, balls or bands.
Cardio: This fun, level 2 workout will leave you feeling, toned, and sweaty! Our Cardio class is on the Reformer using the jump board and may incorporate the Wunda Chair, and props like the Pilates Ring, weights, balls or bands, all to get that heart rate up.
Bun Burner: Tone those buns AND keep your core engaged! This class focuses on your rear view while also providing a full-body workout. The glutes are the largest muscle group in the body, which makes them supreme calorie burners! Brawny buns also stabilize and support your lower back and pelvis as you move throughout your day. So many benefits for your backside! Our Bun Burner class is on The Reformer and may incorporate the Wunda Chair and props like the Pilates Ring, balls or bands.
Cadillac trio Class: Using the springs directly you will find this class to be gentle, yet challenging and fun! Moving through the vast majority of Pilates moves throughout the class, you will find yourself leaving feeling taller and leaner, with a greater understanding of how each move benefits your physique.
Reformer Stretch: Staying limber is an important part of staying strong. Reward yourself with an integrative stretch session on The Reformer. This class is suitable for all levels.
Mat Class: A challenging yet safe method to lengthen and sculpt your body. Classes are a blend of the Classical Mat and West Coast styles of Pilates. Mat’s focus is on the core muscles, from whence all movement is centered. Modifications are given for beginners and those with physical limitations.
Prenatal/Postnatal: Pilates is a core-based workout, so our classes are perfect for those expanding their family! In these sessions, we focus more on the areas you need to strengthen and stretch out while also keeping that pelvic floor strong to support your new addition! We’ll help you remain strong during your pregnancy. Postnatally, come back so we can help your body and pelvic floor support you in your new role! Interested?
